Mike Daly was raised on a family farm in New Zealand and has had a long career in agricultural and horticultural research. Having worked for the Crown Research Institute, AgResearch up untill recently, he now focus's on private consultancy, principly on the use of EM and integration of this technology into farming systems.

Mikes expertise is in organic farming, organic horticulture with emphasis on conversion from conventional to organic certification. Mike has been a Bio-Gro inspector and has auditing experience, so has insights into that process and can help develop a conversion plan for farmers wanting to convert to Organic farming or growing. Mike has a strong background in soils and agronomy and expertise in systems management.

Mike has presented numerous papers at International conferences on Organic farming(IFOAM) and EM and Nature Farming themes. Mikes diverse knowledge of many farming and horticultural sytems is his strength.

In recent times Mike has developed expertise in the integration of EM into Vineyard management, and in particular waste management with organic waste and waste water, and can offer advice in these areas as well. Mike is an international expert on the integration of EM into large scale farming systems.
