What is Nature Farming

Kyusei Nature Farming is an important part of the philosophy of the international organisation supporting the spread and development of EM technology. The aims of Kyusei Nature Farming are fully compatible with organic farming, as we know it in New Zealand.

The five aims of Kyusei Nature Farming (Mokichi Okado, 1882-1955) are:

1. Production of safe and nutritious food to enhance human health.

2. Development of economic and spiritual benefits to both farmers and consumers.

3. Sustainability and ease of practice by every person.

4. Conservation of the environment.

5. Production of sufficient food of high quality for expanding world populations.

In NZ, an organisation called the New Zealand Nature Farming Society (NZNFS) embrace this philosophy of Nature farming, with the goal of spreading and promoting the technology of EM within New Zealand.
